Aerotek Software Engineer in WARREN, Michigan

Description:

  • Position is helping the ARMY to build out various military ground vehicle platforms

  • Develop software for military ground vehicle platforms utilizing C++ pertaining to touch screen, autonomous ground vehicle solutions

  • Streamline overall vehicle software to ensure systems and subsystems communicate to each other with little to no issues

  • Work with government customer and internal personnel to develop code and identify areas of opportunity to optimize communication throughout the full vehicle system

  • Mentor junior Engineers on technical packages and timelines

  • Provide technical input to government customer on specifications required and any areas of concern with deliverables

  • Attend, participate and sometimes lead meetings providing status updates pertaining to your groups vested interest

Skills:

Must have:

  • Object oriented programming (C++ highly preferred)

  • Linux

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience

  • application layer development

Nice to have:

  • Microcontroller / embedded development

  • QT experience

  • Familiarity with CAN tools

  • Agile development experience.
