Aramark is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Director of Facilities Operations for a large client in the automotive industry.

Position Description: Plans, administers and directs all activities related to facilities, maintenance and engineering services, including Aramark and client financial accountability, and compliance with the standards established by Aramark. Leads our facilities management department. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facilities management. Primary level of impact is within this account/client, but can affect the overall facilities safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivers strong operational performance by executing against Aramark standards and programs, continually monitoring operations and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide an optimal, proactive, safely operating facilities maintenance program.

  • Ensures safety compliance as appropriate.

  • Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting walk-thru’s.

  • Identifies Aramark service expansion opportunities.

  • Provides overall direction and manages performance for all Facilities and Maintenance Managers, Supervisors and front line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards.

  • Develops operational forecasts and is able to explain variances. Responsible for overall finance and accounting functions.

  • Ensures compliance with all contract obligations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Business Management/Administration or other related field required.

  • Five to seven years of facilities maintenance management experience required; housekeeping experience highly preferred.

  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills.

  • Working knowledge of building systems, i.e. boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • High degree of integrity and business maturity.

  • P&L experience highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly.
