Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician (Apprentice/Grunt Level) X2

• A large but family owned and still operate in that manner!

• Mainly support the Big 3 here In Motor City.

• Environment is HOT and can be DIRTY

• Factory/Machine Shop Experience Really NICE to have

• Looking for Grunts to Turn some Wrenches that WANT to learn! Ok with Junior Machine Operators that have experience fixing/maintaining their machines

• Need to be OK with Break Down Maintenance

• Under a GUN continuously, be transparent (going to be stressful) make sure they are ok with this!

• Ask them to walk through a recent example of when a machine was done and they fixed the machine! What does the team look like? One man Band or were there several folks involved? What was the result? How did you troubleshoot!

• MUST be Solutions Oriented and experience Troubleshooting!!!

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
