Intern - SW Engineer
Core Responsibilities may include:
Work within Software Team to design, implement, and test embedded software
Perform System and Software Requirements analysis using formal Requirements Engineering techniques
Scripting opportunities using Python or other languages to improve automatic test environments
Learn and Execute Standard Software Development Processes
Support strategic process improvement initiatives by analyzing current process performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
Opportunity to interface with other domains (i.e. Hardware, Systems)
Additional Responsibilities may include:
Software analysis: static code analysis and dynamic code analysis
Software verification activities: module testing and integration testing
Debugging on emulator, module, and/or actual vehicle, including use of test equipment
Good knowledge of embedded C
Basic understanding of vehicle networks
Good understanding of embedded systems
Experience with scripting environments
Good problem solving
Able to work independently on new or complex assignments
Must be enrolled in a US accredited Electrical Engineering degree program,
Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
