Summary:Ricardo Defense is seeking an experienced tracked vehicle Field Service Representative (FSR) to support a critical prototype vehicle test program for the United States Army.and#160;brThe Field Service Representative will support the testing of modified military vehicles for use in an advanced concept developmental and operational test program.and#160; The Field Service Representative will serve an important role in minimizing downtime of multiple vehicle platforms by performing hands on preventive maintenance and service checks (PMCS), as well as troubleshooting, isolating, and repairing any vehicle mobility issues.and#160; The primary duty location will be our Van Buren, MI facility, with travel expected 50% of the time to various test centers across the United States.brbrRicardo Defense is a full-service engineering and technology company that develops customized solutions for government and commercial organizations. and#160;Ricardo Defense combines experience, skill, and innovation to bring leading-edge technologies and engineering to customers who require mission-critical systems. Our core capabilities include designing complex embedded systems and technology-enabled business management solutions.brEssential Duties and Job Responsibilities:ul liProvide technical guidance and advice to the customer related to vehicle service and repair/li liPerform hands on maintenance to determine operational state of vehicle in support of military vehicle test programs/li liPerform inspection, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on multiple platform vehicles/li liConduct technical analysis of vehicle installations, modifications, and enhancements/li liAct as local on-site representative to Ricardo Defense/li/ulQualifications:ul liAbility to work from technical manuals, work instructions, work orders and follow-up of historic troubleshooter findings and notes/li liProficient in the use of common and special tools, diagnostic equipment, schematics, and relevant technical and parts manuals/li liAbility to use all types of power tools, lifting devices, carrying or support equipment, including safe use of slings and chains/li liAble to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, heat and humidity/li liAble to work in confined spaces/li liWilling and able to travel 50% - 80% of the time when needed/li liAble to demonstrate proficient computer skills and use of MS Office programs/li liAble to prepare written technical reports/li liDemonstrate professionalism and interact with all levels of employees and customers/li liHigh School diploma with 5 or more years of directly related experience in the maintenance and repair of light/heavy tracked vehicles (military experience preferred)/li liMust be a U.S. citizen with ability to acquire a U.S. passport/li liAbility and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. government secret clearance/li liMust have valid driverand#8217;s license and clean driving record/li liCertification from a vocational school or other recognized source such as a military service-related Advanced Individual Training with a focus in tracked vehicle maintenance/li/ulbrRicardo Defense offers an impressive compensation and benefits package including:ul liMedical, Dental Vision Benefits/li liCompany Paid Life and ADD/li liCompany Paid Short Term and Long-Term Disability/li liFlexible Spending HSA Accounts/li li401k with Company Match/li liPaid holidays, vacation and sick days/lilt
