Job Description Details:

General responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for 6-8 long term care communities

  • Prepare written summaries to senior management ensuring accurate reporting

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

  • Prepare budget materials for distribution to communities

  • Prepare year end financial reporting package

  • Analysis of hisotorial date, trends and effect of potential financial changes

  • Review financial statements and related schedules

  • Perform financial projections and viability studies for new business ventures Candidates will have:

  • CPA eligibility or certification preferred

  • Previous experience in healthcare required, long term care industry preferred

  • Strong analytical and organization skills (microcomputer usage is required).

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with high level of accuracy and to prioritize multiple tasks in a highly automated setting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization.

  • Comfort level operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  • A personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Trinity Health. Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS with a major in accounting

  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience

  • CPA eligibility or certification preferred
