(HATCI) is currently looking for a Paralegal at its Superior Township, MI location to perform the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Transnational and contract drafting, negotiating and administration (including but not limited to: Non-Disclosure Agreements, Customs, Immigration, Patent, Contracts, Non-Compete Agreements, Leases, Licensing and Permits); support of the Purchasing Team and Vendor Administration for the corporation.Assist General Counsel with Corporate governance matters including creating, maintaining and updating records such as corporate policies affiliate related governance requirements. You will manage all records relating to corporate formations and dissolutions, business licenses, all corporate filings required by the Federal, State and Local entities. This individual will work with all affiliates and departments to maintain critical deadlines and regulatory requirements assigned to each area of HATCI and consistently Audit the records to maintain compliance at all times.Contribute to the success of the Legal Team by completing tasks, including but not limited to:- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently and with a team- Proactively assist General Counsel, other Paralegals and Administration Department Staff- Complete routine administrative duties (copying, indexing, labeling, filing, management of data - paper and electronic)- Complete deadlines with strict attention to detail and professionalism- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Capable of managing and taking ownership of projectsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point and Access)Type, organize and file legal documentsAdminister customs records for import and export of vehicles and parts. Tracking invoices and bills and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.Administer immigration records for Korean and other international employees on H1-B Visas, HMC/E-1 and L-1 Visas. Track expiration dates and consult with Immigration Attorney to create a renewal application. Obtain required signatures on visa applications and forward to Federal Immigration Naturalization Service. Track green card sponsored employees.
