Aerotek Process Engineer 282874 in Sterling Heights, Michigan


Candidate will be working within the Engineering team to manage the quality, productivity, and help improve the manufacturing processes on the shop floor in Final Assembly.

Candidate would be the lead in resolving assembly related concerns, variability reduction, and ensuring compliance to the Plant. Candidate will conduct meetings, provide updates to upper management, and be the main point of contact for issues.

2-5 years experience Process Engineering 2-5 years experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves: -3-5 years experience in Process engineering -3-5 years exp with conducting job evaluations, ergonomic studies of plant operations on the shop floor, -3-5 years experience with processing, documenting, and investigating quality concerns regarding manufacturing processes

-1-2 years experience conducting ergonomic studies, implementing lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices at work stations

-Work with team to support and identify continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity

Disqualifiers: Candidates that are not able to work the OT involved with the position and do not have thick skin.

Nice to haves: -3-5 years experience with gears, axles, differentials, and metals
