Aerotek Maintenance Tech in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Description:

Press Repair Technician. This individual will be responsible for meeting up with the supervisor or manager to go over the previous shifts issues and complete work orders throughout the shift. This will involve troubleshooting and repairing mainly Danley stamping machines. Responsibilities will include: replacing sensors, pulling wire, fixing an air system line that blew, sensor alignment, PM's on the presses, maintenance of the controls on the tooling, fabricating, etc. (75% mechanical problems).

(Work will be centered around 7 presses ranging from 800 - 1600 tons.)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

  • Min. 5 years experience as a Maintenance Repair in an industrial setting

  • Min. 2 years experience with mechanical stamping press

  • Troubleshooting ability

  • PLC Knowledge (Allen Bradley)

  • Ladder Logic

  • Experience using a Volt Meter

  • Schematic reading
