Technician-Specimen Processing - General Lab Anc 012 - Full-Time,Evening - Ascension Providence Hospital - BU 34028 - Southfield,MI
2:00pm to 10:30pm every other weekend/holiday.

What You Will Do
As an associate with St. John Health-MI, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the testing and tracking of specimens.
Prepare specimens for testing, analysis or shipment to external laboratories. Collect blood specimens from patients following established procedures.
Perform data entry and tracks specimens. Record daily information in required laboratory logs and performs audits.
Maintain specimen handling and testing supplies.
Perform proper disposal of specimens.
What You Will Need
Phlebotomy Tech credentialed from the American Allied Health National Certification and Registration. Any issuing authority accepted.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
