Huntington National Bank National Settlements Service Manager Senior in Southfield, Michigan

Description

Manages the most complex customer support activities for a sales function for multiple National Settlement Relationship Managers. This position is responsible for the day to day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation, and maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Primarily the trust portfolio on account opening, account servicing, investment documentation, and other customer service initiatives. Ensures critical steps are completed by other areas of the bank where required. Manages decisions in absence of the officer. Works with client, RMs, and colleagues in additional Huntington departments, such as Corporate Trust, Custody, and Capital Markets gather, review, and process appropriate legal documents, account opening agreements, contracts, CIP data, beneficial owner, and investment instructions for deposit openings, servicing, disbursements, and account research. Assist RMs, colleagues, and clients with complex financial calculations and large dollar requests. Provides outstanding customer service with unwavering professionalism to high-value clients. Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing, and resolving complex problems relative to implementations and service. Performs day to day leadership for less experienced team members as well as serving the most complex customers including those with the highest volume of accounts. Serves as a key resource to establish workflows in an effort to solve issues or implement new processes and providing operational and risk management support to the National Settlements team within the National Settlements business unit and the Commercial Segment. Responsible for communicating situations of non-adherence of policies or compliance requirements to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trust/Custody experience beneficial, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, and Acrobat.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in customer service / similar roles.

Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of degree.
