Adient US LLC IT Manager, Plant Program Launch in Southfield, Michigan

JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: IT Manager, Plant Program LaunchLocation: Southfield, MIJob Profile:•Responsible to deploy multiple business solutions like ERP, MES Shop Floor, Time and attendance residing on multiple technology platforms in a business environment consisting of multiple in progress and concurrent program launches.•Manage the deployment of IT infrastructure activities.•Manage and mentor activities for a group of diverse disciplines of IT Business Professionals.•Manage the delivery of IT technology standards for new product launch programs, new plant launches and manufacturing footprint changes.•Provide direction to the project team to ensure successful delivery as measured by timeliness, budget performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.•Coordinate and ensure the use of IT tools and delivery methodologies including Glide pathroject plans, status reporting, and portfolio management.•Facilitate and oversee the successful transition of new projects into the application services organization for continued support and enhancement.•Responsible for cross project and multi-discipline collaboration to ensure optimal use of Adient resources.•Ensure project teams are structured for success and have appropriate levels of management governance and involvement.Qualifications:•8 to10 years of experience in managing IT applications deployment preferably in automotive/ any manufacturing industry.•ERP, MES, Shopfloor, Supply Chain systems and IT infrastructure experience.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good Understanding of the automotive or any other manufacturing and the business processes.•MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project)•Good blend of people skills and technical/functional skills.•Excellent Multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the working day.•Minimum 2 years of ERP, MES and Shop floor applications experience•Business analysis skills. Comfortability with situations that include ambiguity and complexity.•Diplomacy and ability to rally up stakeholders to get the things done.•Good listening and facilitation skills.
