Eaton Corporation HR Manager, eMobility in Southfield, Michigan
Eaton’s eMobility segment is currently seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team.
The HR Manager is responsible for:
Providing strategic, tactical and analytical leadership and support for its global NPI Engineering organization, and local team members. Reporting directly to the HR Director for eMobility, the incumbent will primarily act as a business partner to eMobility's Engineering leaders in the development, and implementation of HR strategy, programs, and policies for eMobility's NPI organization. This dynamic HR leader will specifically focus on partnering with eMobility's Engineering leaders on the strategic development of organizational capability, including talent recruitment, and management, performance management, reward and recognition, knowledge retention and succession planning.
In this role you will:
Facilitate the design and implementation of impactful change initiatives that ensure the best possible solution for all major constituents, including employees, customers, shareholders, etc.
Enhance organization capability by supporting operations functions to attract, retain and develop talent.
Drive the Eaton Business System philosophy to ensure standard, high quality processes while supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Provide clear guidance to leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements and support the achievement of both short/long-term business objectives.
Develop and deploy effective training process to meet current and future organizational needs.
Counsel and influence leadership to build a high-performance winning culture and an inclusive environment.
Utilize available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote Eaton leadership behaviors and results.
Lead organizational capability reviews to assess pipeline strength, determine skill gaps and identify and implement necessary developmental actions.
Motivate and coach employees and managers to maintain high levels of engagement, manager effectiveness, productivity, and quality.
Review key HR metrics, analyze root causes and trends and recommend appropriate actions to meet goals.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred
HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
Functional knowledge of governmental regulations and laws that impact the employment relationship
Accountable and action-oriented; ability to drive change and business results
Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders independently
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with all organizational levels
Strong facilitation/coaching skills
