ManpowerGroup Food Production Operator in Saline, Michigan

Manpower is currently seeking a Food Production Operator for one of our premier clients in Saline. This is a great full-time, potential temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established company in the food processing and packaging industry. This position is available on first and second shift and pays $15 per hour for first shift and $15.40 for second shift. Overtime is paid as time and a half and double-time is offered on Sunday after 40 hours are worked during the work week. After 90 days, employees become eligible for an increase to $16-17 per hour based on position. Once hired on, employees are offered a $300 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health insurance, two yearly bonuses, 401(k) match, a safety bonus, and service awards. The selected candidate will be responsible for running and monitoring the quality of product in the packaging department, as well as maintaining PLE area compliance in regard to work safety standards. Those interested must be able to physically climb up and down ladders/stairs and lift up to 50 lbs during the course of their work shift.
