This is both a strategic and hands-on role that is critical in executing our key results, providing great internal customer support, and driving operations excellence and process improvement. The Plant Controls Engineer would be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing (building some parts of the back end of machines), and maintaining production and facility equipment, in addition to problem solve manufacturing and supporting processes. This position provides a wonderful opportunity to grow into a global resource for our other sites.uResponsibilities/uKEY ATTRIBUTESThe position requires a passionate individual who demonstrates initiative, can work independently takes ownership for project work, and exhibits a high level of integrity. Additionally, the Plant Controls Engineer should have creative problem-solving skills and patience to evaluate and troubleshoot process and control system performance. The ideal candidate would have experience in electrical design and programming and be extremely knowledgeable in the following:ulliElectrical Design and Troubleshooting/liliSupport installation of new equipment for expansion to ensure projects are completed successfully, within budget, and on-time./liliShare best practices and implement standard procedures as a member of the plant-site team./liliCreate and standardize manufacturing work instructions for repairing and operating equipment and provide hands-on support to troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns./liliAssist in the development and implementation of improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations and quality./liliReview, investigate, and come up with resolutions for complex problems./liliDesigning or redesigning of electrical schematics, PLC, robotics and other systems as needed./liliComputer Structure and Logic Sciences/liliApplied and Theoretical Physics, Mathematics, Sciences/liliDC, AC, advanced electricity and troubleshooting analog and digital electronics/liliInstrumentation and control systems/liliProgrammable logic controllers/liliHydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems/liliDesign, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of operation of automation systems/li/ulCORE COMPETENCIESulliBasic electricity (Industrial Electronics)/liliMachine tooling skills/liliProcess validation experience (IQ, OQ, PQ)/liliAbility to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to find the sequence and method of assembly of a piece of equipment, machine, or part./liliA thorough component level understanding of electrical devices used in manufacturing/liliAbility to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems and clearly communicate technical solutions for any control system challeng
