Please only apply to this position if you have your Journeyman's Card or proof that you've worked enough hours to be able to get your Journeyman's Card.Job Description-Candidate will be responsible for completing electrical trouble shooting and repairs to stamping equipment and auxiliary machines. Candidate is still expected to help with light mechanical repairs if a Machine Repairman is not available.1st week expectations-Candidate will be expected to handle basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs. We also be expected to be able to read schematics, build panels, and use a volt meter.This is a 2nd shift position. 3pm - 11pm.Required Qualifications:MUST1. Schematics2. 8+ years electrical in a maintenance group. 8,000 verified hours.3. 3 phase electrical experiencePlus:Journeyman cardPLC troubleshootingDis qualifier-Not enough experience to be considered a JourneymanNot able to work OT and work weekends when neededHours-2nd shift2nd shift = 3pm - 11pmWorking 6 days a weekDress Code :Jeans/work pants - Work shirt providedSteel toes, Safety glasses, ear plugsReasons to work for this company:-Very consistent production and client demands. (Job security)-Overtime opportunity (No overtime cap, able to take on as much -OT as they want)-Stability- has been around since 1922- Profit Sharing = Every quarter they get back paid for the hours that quarter with a $.40- $1.20 bonus. Calculating the rate on their OT as well.-3 month contract that gets bought out.If they are not performing well at the end of 3 months they will have to stay on contract.( Can go direct quickly and get in the union)Pay rate $25.96 with .50 shift premium for first 3 months. Wage increase after 3 months to $29.69 plus shift premium. Benefit costs are below, there may be some slight. changes but nothing major. There is another increase coming in September as well.Reason position is open:They had one of their Electricians retire, they have another retiring in the next month.They cannot afford to leave the positions open with another electrician retiring in a month.
