This role includes territory business development, pre-sales, and post-sales support for the above-mentioned portfolio. The position will also be responsible for competency development of our inside and outside sales teams. The individual in this role will require commercial leadership and collaboration with Rockwell Automation and our other partners./divdiv /divdivbPosition Description:/b/divdivThis position is responsible for ensuring that the following activities occur for supported products and services for the bLansing, Saginaw, /bandb Alpena A/brea of bP/brimary bR/besponsibility (APR):/divdivulliWork with Kendall Account Managers to further develop their business by developing target opportunities and assisting them with closing sales./liliWork with Kendall Inside Sales in quoting, processing orders, and servicing customers./liliWork with customers on applications, projects, and other pre-sales activities./liliWork with customers on post-sale technical questions, issues, and/or commercial situations./liliBe a single point of contact to Rockwell Automation and partnering manufacturers within the APR./liliCreate, own, and execute a business plan that includes:/liliCommercial Plan with activities driving new business and conversion opportunities./liliCompetency Plan that includes self, inside, and outside sales./liliTarget Accounts for self and outside sales./li/ul/divdivbMinimum Qualifications and Requirements:/b/divulliBachelor's degree in engineering, technology degree/certificate, or equivalent training/experience./liliKnowledge and experience with industrial automation which includes PLCs, HMIs, Networks, Industrial Controls, Motor Controls, Sensing, Safety, and Motion Control products./liliUnderstanding of machinery and mechanics./liliHands-on electrical/mechanical knowledge and experience./liliEnjoys working with others to design controls systems, equipment, and to solve problems./liliInterest or experience working in a sales environment./liliSelf-motivated to learn new technologies and accomplish tasks when due./liliEffective presentation skills in both small and large group settings./li/uldivbCompensation:/b Salary plus commission/divdiv /divdivl
