JOB REQUISITION #:030216 Administrative Assistant (Open) JOB DESCRIPTION:PURPOSE: n Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment performing general clerical functions as related to customer service, human resources, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, procurement and office support to assigned managers and to others as requested. Must be able to work under pressure while remaining proactive and resourceful with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. nnMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: nn * Ensures a safe and healthy workplace.n * Provide quality service and support to external and internal customers.n * Promptly answer customer telephone calls and respond to e-mails.n * Enter customer orders into OE system, distribute copies to appropriate personnel and communicate customer requests or changes to the sales and production team.n * Maintain customer database and forward information to corporate regarding new customers.n * Complete daily customer invoicing, send to customers via email and assist with billing concerns.n * Coordinate, reconcile and submit customer billing and credit memo data to corporate.n * Contact customers regarding collection opportunities.n htps:// We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits and opportunity for growth. Receive inbound materials into purchasing system. * Perform all required duties and tasks in accordance with Greif accounting policies and financial control procedures. * Maintain internal financial plant expenditures (AP) * Maintain customer billing ensure accuracy (AR) * Process weekly hourly payroll and submit all information to the corporate payroll department in a timely manner.
