divGENERAL SUMMARY:Performs corrective and preventive maintenance, calibration, electrical, mechanical and radiation safety inspections and equipment acceptance testing on diagnostic imaging equipment (x-ray equipment). Provides a leadership role and serves as a backup during manager's absence. Serves as a positive role model for junior positions at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:ullidivDiagnoses problems on imaging equipment and repairs or establishes a service plan. Orders parts, contacts vendors and follows-up to assure proper equipment operation in a quality and timely manner./div/lilidivPerforms preventive maintenance on imaging equipment to comply with federal, state and local government standards (reference section #21CFR1020). Assures all equipment remains in compliance at all times./div/lilidivCompletes all work orders and p.m. forms. Enters all data into the computer. Maintains schematics, manuals and service documents. Updates procedural documentation as necessary./div/lilidivPerforms parts procurement and inventory maintenance on new and refurbished replacement parts. Updates procedural documentation as necessary./div/lilidivPerforms site planning, de-installation and re-installation of imaging systems./div/lilidivUses tools and equipment appropriately. Knows when and how to use tools and equipment to perform the job in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
