Sales Account Manager- (Pipeline)

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager with experience selling capital equipment who knows how to actively generate and qualify high quality sales leads for the business from multiple sources!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages a sales territory to achieve sales goals.

  • Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies.

  • Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume.

  • May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

  • Conducts in-person presentations with pressroom management, pre-press management, financial management, the person authorized to sign the contract, press operators, and maintenance personnel.

  • Delivers complete and accurate quote request information.

  • Contact with the supplier of other capital equipment to this prospect and the gathering of information concerning that transaction.

  • Attends regional, national, and occasionally international printing industry trade shows and conferences.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area and at least 4 years in the field. Printing Industry experience preferred.

  • Requires extensive domestic travel and occasional international travel (up to 75%).

  • Track record of prospecting and developing new customers.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred or other CRM experience is plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Positive, enthusiastic, focused, polished and genuine in all internal and external correspondence & interactions.

  • Ability to “wow” the customer. Being knowledgeable about your job, having pride in yourself and your abilities, and giving the customer your best to create loyalty and stand out among the rest.

  • Ability to “think out of the box” and express creative thinking and innovative ideas.

  • Ability to build rapport with customers and make a lasting impression
