What you will do

Target, secure, implement and retain cross-divisional MVP customers. MVP is an innovative program partnering with select, thought-leading institutions to drive partnership to a new level by delivering increased quality and decreased cost through unique, customized content while increasing our revenue. This cross-divisional program includes 18+ Business Units of Stryker. The program is launched via a two-day customer visit (or virtual visit) to Stryker where guests will be immersed in our culture, share best practices, and determine a customized road map of success.

Responsibilities may include:

  • High energy, passion, and a drive to exceed customer expectations

  • Primary focus will include multi-divisional MVP targeting, attainment and implementation activities.

  • Collaborate with key internal cross-divisional stakeholders including Customer Engagement Director, Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and Corporate Account Managers to strategically identify, qualify and target new MVP customers

  • Responsible for presenting MVP program content to customers at Stryker Site Visits as well as onsite implementations at MVP hospitals

  • Support pricing, contracting and sales discussions for assigned MVP accounts as they relate to the divisions of Stryker

  • Lead agreement negotiations, including market share analysis, pricing analysis, and cross divisional collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal and external departments within Stryker including Legal, National Accounts, Strategic Contracting, ProCare, Med Ed, and Stryker Finance to implement the MVP Agreement and enhance the customer experience.

  • For each MVP customer assigned, maintain and grow their knowledge of the MVP program, capital equipment, disposable products, and ProCare service agreements for each.

  • Manage all customer-facing Value documents.

  • Monitor MVP results to make appropriate suggestions to target new business and grow market share.

  • Will assist in tracking the value, success for both partners, and best practices of the MVP Program.

  • Play a key role in the cross-divisional Targeting Task Force to collaborate on all target opportunities in order to reach consensus on future targets

  • Take on assigned and on-demand MVP tasks focused on the C-suite, supply chain offices and the OR suite.

  • Execute and resolve operational tasks such as contract price changes, orders and shipping changes.

  • Complete all actions items and follow up tasks for MVP customers in a timely, professional, and expectation exceeding manner.

  • Maintain routine communication with local sales forces and MVP accounts to both gather and share information as part of the MVP program to develop a transparent account strategy.

  • Monitor all cross-divisional product conversion opportunities, apply analytics and report at MVP Business Reviews.

  • Facilitate cross-divisional calls to protect and grow sales at strategically identified accounts.

  • Work with sales team to identify/assess business opportunities and to drive program and account performance

  • Identify, develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships; ensure key contacts are maintained throughout the sales process and post-sale activities

  • Develop and implement summary and exception reports to validate program performance; present results of programs to management

  • Must be capable for working with executive levels internally and externally to grow relationships, identify opportunities and maximize agreements in accounts

  • Collaborate with Sales Training team and participate in the Sales and/or Marketing training of others

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field required

  • 7+ years experience in project management, process improvement, marketing,, sales or related position required

  • Industry experience, ideally, would include experience within a hospital and/or medical device manufacturer environment. Additionally, experience with GPOs, Consulting or “Solutions” organizations would be beneficial to advancing supply chain and clinical relationships.
