Robert Bosch Automotive Steering LLC is looking for a Technical Project Manager for cost down activities (VA/VE) at our Plymouth, MI location.
As technical project lead (TPL) you are part of a cross functional team task with achieving the cost down targets for Bosch Automotive Steering in North America.
As contact window to regional engineering team assure proper Change Management (ECR).
Define work packages and assure proper tracking and on-time implementation of cost down projects
Align with customer teams milestone planning, implementation window, required documentation and validation
Elaborate and provide necessary documentation for customer review meetings (DRBFM, One Pager, Commercial analysis, timing, etc.)
Support organization and executions of cost down related workshops with supplier (collaboration with purchasing)
Support organization and executions of cost down related workshops with customers (collaboration with customer teams)
Cooperation with international, cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing etc.
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or technical related field
5+ years of project management experience in automotive enviornment and knowledge of product development process
Knowledge of steering system
Experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry
Team spirit working in a challenging international environment
Highly self-motivated and willingness to dive right in
Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss solutions with team and external business partners
