The Car Multimedia group is looking for an automotive system test engineer with experience in the area of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto certification. The position will be actively working on test and validation activities for our head units. Responsibilities include:
Schedule test runs and test the software in real time
Create test report
Work with customers and support certification
Preparation of test benches
Planning and scheduling certification activities
Must have a valid Michigan drivers license with good driving record and safe driving skills
Basic computer skills that include Office Products and instrumentation software
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering field
1+ years of experience in HMI, Telematics, Navigation and SXM services
Working knowledge in one or more of the following: Apple Carplay and Android auto user interfaces; Bluetooth Profiles –HFP, AVP, A2DP etc; WiFi protocols; Media player.
Background in software, computer science, or electrical engineering
Aptitude to follow previously established guidelines to provide high quality results
Highly motivated and accountable for assigned tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills & able to have critical communication with OE customer
Problem solving attitude.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a global organization.
Training provided for the tools & process required for this role.
