Adient US LLC Director of Product Business Development in Plymouth, Michigan

JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition OverviewThis position will oversee the operations of Sales and Marketing. Will lead the development and commercialization of the Company's products, technical innovations and solutions. Develop the organizational structure necessary to research, design, develop and support implementation of existing and new products ensuring goals and objectives are maintained and developed. Will create and implement strategic plans and define success metrics to establish long-range goals, strategies and policies in support of revenue channels and business initiatives. Coordinate corporate sales and marketing initiatives for all strategic business units in alignment with RECARO global brand objectives.Essential Responsibilities•Development , approval, and management of Sales Budgets of all SBU (Passenger Car OEM, Passenger Aftermarket, Motorsports, Commercial Vehicle - Transit, Military)•Budget management of multiple cost centers including customer associated activities•Develop and forecast sales projections•Develop and maintain quoting process, value stream, and approval structure•Responsible for margin protection for all products/customers•Manage Global responsibility for all Ford and General Motors sales•Support long-term product and brand strategy for all SBU in North and South America•Participate in customer presentations representing RECARO•Involvement in Program Management Teams as required•Identify market trends, factors and problems, and provide creative resolutions•Create and manage reports for Sales business units including financial, project management, new business opportunities, and quotation•Will require travel 25%•Performs management responsibilities in accordance with RNA policies, procedures and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, coaching and counseling•Recommend, support, and implement continuous process improvements•Engage in continuous learning and professional development to maintain current knowledge within the field to meet required compliance and regulatory job requirements•Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental standards and procedures. Participate in investigations and 8D process as needed•Report occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents. Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions.•Understands, supports, and contributes to RECARO Total Quality Management, Quality (ISO/TS 16949), and Environmental Management (ISO14000) Systems by following approved policies and procedures•Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience / Job Skills and Requirements•Bachelors degree with engineering, marketing or business administration background (or equivalent). Masters preferred•Minimum of (12) years experience in sales marketing management•Minimum of (10) years staff management experience•Minimum of (7) years budget development and management experience•Exceptional knowledge of the automotive, aftermarket, commercial vehicle industry of North and South American OEMs•Experience in Brand Management and Premium Brand Development•Market Research and Trend Analysis experience•Business Plan Development experience•Must be a strategic leader and creative thinker, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a broad range of internal and external customers, and can collaborate cross functionally within our global organization•Global business management
