Ausable Valley Community Mental Health Authority OBRA Coordinator in Oscoda, Michigan

The OBRA coordinator has a specific responsibility to complete comprehensive psychosocial and/or psychiatric (mental status) assessments as outlined in the MDHHS "OBRA Operations Manual" as part of the interdisciplinary assessment process. The work is completed in nursing care facilities or local hospitals. Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently under pressure will be needed. Federally mandated guidelines dictate the completion and submission of written documentation. Clinical assessment and writing skills are essential. Knowledge of and experience working with the OBRA PASARR program would be preferred. Further responsibilities include Intake Assessment, diagnosing, service plan development, case file management, outreach, coordination, community consultation, interdisciplinary team treatment planning, emergency services Master’s on call, and the ability to work with various community agencies.
