Kelly Services Attorney - Compliance in Northville, Michigan

Kelly Legal Managed Services has an exciting direct hire opportunity for an experienced Compliance Attorney with a top corporation in the Metro Detroit area!

The Compliance Attorney will work in conjunction with the General Counsel to oversee the company compliance and confidentiality programs, manages all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Advising senior management on important legal matters, interprets laws, rulings and regulations, analyzes probable outcomes, develops strategies and evaluates findings

  • Develop and implement Code of Conduct company policy and positions on legal issues; research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks

  • Work with outside counsel to revise and update company compliance policies

  • Consults with General Counsel as needed to review and resolve legal issues and/or concerns

  • Oversees, directs, delivers or ensures delivery of an effective compliance training program

  • Prepares and examines various legal contracts


  • Minimum of 10 years’ prior legal experience, ideally from an in-house legal department. At least 5 of those years should be focused on compliance-related duties

  • Ability and willingness to travel (25%) throughout North America when necessary

  • Must be licensed, in good standing, to at least one US State Bar

  • Japanese language skills are a plus, but are not required
