The College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR position in Strategic Management beginning August 2019.
Teaching responsibilities include courses in strategic management and a secondary management area (e.g., IB, Sustainability/CSR, OB/HR) at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Research responsibilities include an active research agenda within the discipline.
Service responsibilities, per our Department bylaws.
A PhD in Strategic Management or a related field from an AACSB accredited business school – ABD if it is clear the degree will be conferred by the time of appointment.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness in strategic management courses.
A clear research agenda with evidence of or potential for impactful scholarly activity.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Evidence of teaching excellence at the college/university level and on-line teaching experience;
Demonstrated scholarly activity (quality), industry experience may also be considered.
