TITLE: Energy Services CoordinatorSUPERVISOR: Director of Housing Quality Energy ConservationSUPERVISES: No oneCLASSIFICATION: Part-time (20 hours per week)STARTING WAGE: $10.00 JOB GOAL: To process applications for all programs within the Housing Quality Energy Conservationdepartment, obtain and verify all documentation needed for clientspan style="text-decoration: line-through;"’s/span files, provide self-sufficiency services, and connect clients to other agencies/departments for additional needed services. DUTIES:ulliScreen newotential clients both by phone and walk-ins; explain department programs as they relate to household needs./liliPrepare and send out needs letters as they relate to services requested (Utility, Wx, CDBG, etc.)/liliSchedule client appointments for program applications and make clients aware of all necessary documentation needed for each individual program./liliResponsible for completing Weatherization and utility assistance applications./liliMeet with clients for the application process, verify income, perform income calculations, determine income eligibility, and complete a family budget./liliVerify all documentation obtained in client file by contacting appropriate persons./liliNetwork with other service providers and make appropriate referrals to clients needing additional services./liliSubmit completed files to the appropriate staff member./liliEducate families on energy conservation./liliAssist in preparing for all file monitoring within Housing Quality Energy Conservation/liliExpected to conduct energy education and financial education classes./liliAssist with MCOP fundraising efforts/liliDocument services and results in FACSPro./liliRequired to complete MI Bridges Navigator Training./liliComply with Federal Privacy Act Regulation./liliGeneral clerical duties, such as filing, typing, answering phones, etc./liliMay include travel between Monroe and Washtenaw counties./liliOther duties as requested by the Director./li/ul QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or its equivalent. Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel strongly preferred. Must have the ability to perform calculations to determine income. Must have access to vehicle during work hours, and a good driving record. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a grant funded position. Renewable each year upon grant renewal.Regular part-time at MCOP Central Office, 1140 S.
