Treats all patients/residents with dignity and respect. Know, follow and maintain resident rights. Assists with over sight of non-clinical and support staff personnel./divdiv class="fieldValueText"/divdiv class="fieldValueText"(20)* Assesses patient health care needs, nursing care requirements and the delivery of nursing care for all assigned patient, recognizing the specific individual needs of the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.(20%)* Plans and prioritizes care required to meet assigned patients' health care needs.(20%)* Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and established policy.(20%)* Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing care to ensure responsible and appropriate care is rendered to patients.(20%)* Self-Management:Holds self accountable for delivery of responsible nursing care, demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.Assumes responsibility for own continued development and assistswith the development of other staff members.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participates in Performance Improvement as required by MidMichigan Health and the job description.Understands and is accountable for MidMichigan Healthrsquo;s customer service standards./divdiv class="fieldValueText"/divdiv class="fieldValueText"REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND SKILLS:/divdiv class="fieldValueText"Basic Life Support Required./divdiv class="fieldValueText"/divdiv class="fieldValueText"State of Michigan Registered Nurse License Required./divdiv class="fieldValueText"/divdiv class="fieldValueText"Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors preferred./divdiv class="fieldValueText"Operates equipment as outlined on orientation checklists, policy and procedures.Participates in equipment inservices and competencies as they relate to role expectations.Performs job skills outlined on orientation checklist as they relate to role expectations.Previous direct patient care experience preferred.Medical terminology or related experience preferred./div
