This is a work from home opportunity, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

The Category Analyst serves as aCategoryand Customerexpert.

Your responsibilities include; providing analytics and insights to optimize strategic planning and selling efforts. You are a master of utilizing Shopper and Consumer information to develop compelling sales stories. A high proficiency in data mining; utilizing Nielsen, IRI and SPINS. Create fact-based deliverables such as; Business and Category reviews, New Item presentations and or deep dive analysis of promotional trends. A strong storytelling experience.You relish finding the “needle in the haystack” and a master navigator of Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Provide analytical support for category management analytics/projects that includes recommendations.

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of client-specific reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.

  • Build sales presentations using syndicated and other sources of data that addresses business issues.

  • Set up and run team meetings with BM and clients to discuss client needs and upcoming projects

  • Keep abreast of clients KPI's, strategies, innovation and other important information.

  • Attend sales calls at assigned customers.

  • Meeting the physical requirements – listed below

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement

  • Category Management Certification preferred

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, VB, advanced macro’s.

  • Must have experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools.

  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate relevant information.

  • Identifies and leverages relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions

  • Able to effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools.

  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate relevant information

Colorado specific pay range: $55 - $65k
