Surgical Technologist, Surg Tech/CST provides assistance as necessary to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies and equipment, maintaining aseptic fields and technique and providing retraction under the direction of the surgeon.

What a Surgical Technologist, Surg Tech/CST will need:

  • Completion of a formal Surgical Technologist training program or at least 6 years as a Surgical Technologist.

  • Surgical Technologist certification

  • Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) certification preferred.

  • One year prior work experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

Evening and weekend/holiday call required.

32 hrs per wk: 0900-2130p/ 1 8 hour shift is in On Call included
