Accent Services Inc., a Vonachen family company, is looking to fill a /PART-TIME, SECOND SHIFT/ General Cleaner position in a school system in Menominee, MI. Ideal candidates for this position will be energetic, responsible, detail-oriented, flexible in scheduling and have reliable transportation.
This /PART-TIME, SECOND SHIFT/ General Cleaner position works 3:30PM to 8:30PM Monday through Friday with occassional weekend hours depending upon weather. The hourly payrate is $11.00 per hour depending upon experience.
Responsibilities/Duties
A General Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various spaces which could include offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, hallways, locker rooms, and public areas. Snow shoveling and salting sidewalks / entryways are also position duties that are required during weather incidents as needed.
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc)
Gather and empty trash recepticles
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Follow all health and safety regulations
Ability to learn how to operate a floor scrubber - will train
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc)
Required Skills
No janitorial experience required, we provide on the job training
Successful candidates will be reliable, have strong attention to detail, be flexible on occasion and are able to work independently
Able to meet physical requirements, such as lifting up to 40lbs, bending, twisting, climbing stairs and standing for duration of shift
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age for consideration
Must pass a background screening
Fingerprinting required

This /PART-TIME, SECOND SHIFT/ General Cleaner position works 3:30PM to 8:30PM Monday through Friday with occassional weekend hours depending upon weather.

Shoveling snow and salting sidewalks / entryways during / after inclement winter weather will be required. This includes early arrival and occassional weekend work for snow removal as needed.
