Responsible for the evaluation of user requirements, including design development and analysis, and resolving system problems to maintain and improve the organizations applications and systems, working with other departments and vendors.
Maintains a high level of proficiency in the theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge of the business and/or clinical applications and how they affect the workflow of the end-user. Coordinates and/or performs installation of computer programs and operating systems, and tests, maintains, and monitors clinical and financial computer systems.
Prioritizes, organizes and works independently on several assigned projects concurrently through effective time and resource management.
Works in conjunction with the Information Technology Service Center to resolve user problems and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Researches, consults with end-users and makes recommendations to determine hardware, software and system functional specifications on appropriate projects, situations and/or problems.
Minimum Education * Associate’s degree required * Bachelor’s degree preferred *Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
Required Skills * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum Work Experience * 3 years Computer, Applications, and Concepts Systems required
