Our Livonia, Michigan office is currently looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to drive BI Solutions for key business stakeholders across functional areas. You will provide accurate, timely and high-impact analysis from the boardroom to the individual cubicle. Working in tandem with our operations teams, this analyst will provide analytic, data, and reporting support to help enhance business decision-making and increase operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive learner with a passion for data and analytics who can collaborate with stakeholders across functional areas to build, review and optimize reporting solutions while aligning to corporate objectives. This role requires a mixture of business acumen and technical expertise, along with an ability to build strong partnerships with business partners. Success in the role will require a self-starter with a passion for collaborating with others to solve problems. Non-Negotiable Traits: * To perform the job successfully, the incumbent’s behavior must be consistent with the five Non-Negotiable Traits expected of all Mastronardi Produce employees: Be passionate; have absolute integrity; be self-motivated and determined; be a team player and behave as a professional. * Job Responsibilities: * Will act as a data and business intelligence subject matter expert and work closely with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and map out short and long-term plans for data and business intelligence solutions. * Contribute analytical support and data integrity insights and recommendations to stakeholders across all business units. * Provide clear visualizations and present BI Designs to management and executive-level stakeholders by developing business cases based on user requirements. * Drive consistency in reporting and analysis across the company, reinforcing process, increasing visibility, and acting as a key point of communication between stakeholder teams. * Strong focus on simplifying processes, identifying stakeholder teams' core KPIs and delivering BI solutions with the “WOW” factor. * Designing analytics-based tools which are technically sophisticated yet easy to understand and use by business teams. * Design user interfaces, tool screens, and end user workflows to maximize understandability of information, ease of use, and alignment with Mastronardi aesthetic and usability standards. * Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data * Provide recommendations to Business Intelligence leadership on best practices and the continual improvement in business intelligence & systems landscape. * Advance BI team & corporate goals, promoting a data-oriented culture. * Continuously improve technical design patterns, workflows, and tools—defining and enforcing standards when necessary to sustain the platform’s effectiveness and sustainability; and, experimenting with and promoting adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate. * Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making and business planning. * Actively engage in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologies. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems. MBA preferred. At least 4 years work experience as a BI Analyst in a role that required regular business analytics; high tech, software, or mgmt. consulting company preferred with strong delivery skills. Experience/Certification in Agile SDLC methodologies. Knowledge & Experience * Strong experience with and understanding of ERP Systems (SAP/ORACLE/JD Edwards/MS Dynamics) systems required. * Experience with data governance related to data ownership, data quality, data integrity, etc.. * Prior experience creating reporting and analytics within BI Tools such as Power BI, Anaplan, DeFacto, Targit, Tableau * Domo, Qlik, Spotfire, Einstein/Wave Analytics or related BI Tools. * Strong proficiency with SQL or Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). * Strong business acumen, possessing the ability to understand cross-functional trends, and how those trends impact corporate KPIs which can then be presented via executive dashboards. * Prior experience in an operational role a plus. * In-depth knowledge of Distribution Logistics and Supply Chain Planning and Execution operations including Order Processing, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Warehouse Management, Shipping and Transportation Management Personal Attributes Strong ability to understand the data relationships and relational data structures in our Data Warehouse. Fast learner with high attention to detail and possess a passion for data, data quality & business analytics. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, utilizing data to tell a story.
