Community Opportunity Center Assistant Administrator in Livonia, Michigan

General Statement of Responsibilities:The Assistant Administrator has two primary responsibilities:ulliFulfilling the duties of the Administrator in his/her absence/liliDevelopment, implementation, and monitoring of goals and activities identified for each person supported by home/s, as noted in the individualrsquo;s Person Centered Plan (PCP)./li/ulThis person is to promote an unconditional "culture of gentleness" by using positive support andapproach and always treating people with dignity and respect. She/he will adhere to Community Opportunity Center, Non-Profit Housing Corporation (COC, NPHC) policies and procedure, public acts, rules and regulation under which homes associated with COC operates, including directives and standards set forth by the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN).Core Relationships:olliReports to the Home Administrator/li/olol start="2"liMaintains professional and positive relationships with persons served, families, guardians and/li/ol Power of Attorneys (POAs), personnel throughout the corporation, business partners and members of the community.Job Specific ResponsibilitiesolliSupervises home staff in collaboration with, and in the absence of the Administrator/li/olol start="2"liAssure that applicable COC Policies and Procedures are known and carried out in the home./li/olol start="3"liPerform delegated assignments from the Administrator, which include among other things:/li/ololliAssists individuals with necessary personal care and daily living skills/liliAssist in the orientation and training of new staff/liliAssist in the process of evaluating potential new residents/liliRegular review and follow-up on the documentation related to people served; Conduct/li/ol monthly program updates and maintain resident files according to contract obligations.olliAssist in the preparation for Audits and Review from all governing agencies/li/ol ol start="4"liWork cooperatively with the Interdisciplinary Team in supporting each individualrsquo;s PCP,/li/ol Which include, but may not be limited to:olliTrain staff on all aspects of PCPrsquo;s/liliWork alongside staff on the implementation of the PCP and provide direction as needed/liliEnsure staff are attending to goals and objectives identified in PCP/liliAssure required documentation is completed/li/olol start="5"liParticipate in providing and assuring a supportive relationship with the residents and coordinative effort within staff that helps assure a normalized, comfortable, productive and healthy living environment./li/olol start="6"liAssure that appropriate staff area available to provide cooking, mobility, transportation, medication administratio
