Job Description

The Product Specialist is an expert for the product inventory within their domain. They are second level support for all issues that cannot be resolved by level one for these products. The Product Specialist is responsible for providing direct assistance and support to sales agents and employees to effectively utilize their specific digital marketing tools and platforms. This position will also support product managers with rollouts of new marketing technology, as well as ongoing product assistance – including maintenance of Help Center content, VOC follow-up and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIEITES

  • Develop an expertise in assigned product portfolio that encompasses functionality, integration, common problems/resolutions, support resources (internal and external), and high-level roadmap

  • Act as the central point of support for their assigned Product teams in bringing all escalated user issues and problems to a successful resolution that exceed user expectations

  • Coordinate with Help Desk, Product Generalists, and Product Owners to manage and solve escalated Help Desk tickets on a national level

  • Support Product Managers in managing rollouts/launches of new products and major releases and promoting products/marketing initiatives

  • Assist Product Managers with VOC follow-up and reporting

  • Maintain content of relevant products within the Help Center including FAQs, resources, release notes

  • Provide clear support to agents using our company tools to help the agent build their business from a marketing perspective

  • Serve in critical quality assurance role on relevant product suite

  • Assist Product Managers in conducting product training, demos, informational sessions, stakeholder reviews, etc., as needed

  • Assist with other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or related discipline

  • 4+ years digital product support experience in a customer service role

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to change gears quickly to support different customers and products

  • Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed

  • Must be well-organized, process/detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects/issues simultaneously

  • Customer-focused and delivery-oriented

  • Excellent work ethic and a tendency to go above and beyond, can do attitude

  • Team player and an excellent communicator who can work with a variety of people at various levels throughout the company

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member

  • Can work autonomously, proactively identifying and impacting opportunities while also identifying and resolving issues

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, perform under pressure, and be flexible with changing business needs

  • Ability to manage and meet tight deadlines

  • Technologically proficient. Familiarity with various operating systems, and ability to navigate basic computer software and hardware issues

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and effectively train on marketing technology and tools

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud

  • HTML experience is preferred
