The Sr. Franchise Inventory Planner is responsible for inventory planning operation and execution processes. This roles serves as the leader to drive global franchise inventory performance to optimal levels, in alignment with the global inventory strategies and processes.
Specific responsibilities of the Sr. Franchise Inventory Planner include, but are not limited to, the following:
Drives and executes global franchise inventory planning in strategic, operational, and executional processes
Partners with IPM central team in deploying strategic inventory planning and management capabilities (inventory policies, segmentation, inventory targets, etc.) at a global franchise level
Collaborates to set appropriate financial targets and optimal inventory levels across the network
Provides franchise and regional specific business insights and guidance to customize inventory planning and management capabilities
Recommends and facilitates inputs for the new product inventory target levels setting across the global network
Coordinates with respective regions to gather inventory related challenges and presents global view of inventory and plans/projections in appropriate forums
Provides input on franchise specific inventory related investment decisions
Responsible for the oversight of reviewing inventory optimization recommendations, adjustments and executing overall, global franchise inventory strategy
Manages intercompany stock transfer orders to optimal inventory and evaluates cost/benefit analysis
Drives global E&O projections, reduction plans and strategies; also facilitates E&O disposition plans
Presents inventory scenarios, constraints, and business implications in IBP forum as needed
Throughout deployment of SAP, drive aligned inventory targets across SAP and legacy systems to optimize inventory levels throughout the entire network
Provides inventory analytics and mid/long term projections at global, franchise level
Provides input on franchise specific inventory related decisions
Responsible for franchise inventory network master data
A Bachelor's degree is required for this role. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or similar preferred. APICS certification and/or S&OP/IBP accreditation (e.g. Oliver Wight) highly are preferred.
Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experiences:
A minimum of 2 years of supply chain, finance or marketing planning, reporting & analytics preferably in the medical device or other highly regulated environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and deploying organizational capabilities
Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving and sustaining transformational change
Ability to see the big picture, distill strategic objectives into a concrete plan for execution, influence others to build consensus behind shared goals, challenge the status quo, initiate tough conversations, and promote a culture of innovation
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial businesses, portfolio management, supply, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities and the ability to interpret complex information and interconnected issues to clearly articulate the findings, obstacles, and solutions
Demonstrated experience in presenting compelling materials and influencing high-level management
Demonstrated success working in and managing deliverables within a complex, global business across multiple geographic regions
Strong communication skills, collaborative teamwork, ability to influence and negotiate and proven intercultural competences to interact within our international working environment
Ability to build trusting relationships across business stakeholders and partners
Demonstrated ability and willingness to challenge processes and use knowledge or trends to identify new solutions
