State of Michigan Student Assistant (Planning) University Region in Jackson, Michigan
Job Description
This is a non-career position limited to 129 hours/month.
Provide basic assistance to planning staff in meeting responsibilities of University Region planning activities. This includes a variety of baseline tasks relative to delivering the region's transportation program and assisting with the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) development processes.
The position also involves assisting senior staff with project development planning activities related to local agency coordination, planning and environmental studies, Bureau of Transportation Planning (BTP) coordination and region transportation project level activities.

Additional Requirements and Information
