Eaton Corporation Contracts Analyst in Jackson, Michigan
Eaton’s Aerospace Fluid & Electrical Distribution (FED) Division is currently seeking aContracts Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Jackson, MI location.
The FED Contracts Analyst will provide customer contract, specification, return material and scope management administration to support the entire division.

In this function you will:
Coordinate and execute customer specification reviews, Customer and Eaton drawing updates, sales order part marking maintenance and other scope changes with cross functional team members and plant personnel per FED processes and procedures.
Coordinate and execute the appropriate internal shop floor communications to the applicable manufacturing sites to ensure Conveyance products are manufactured and processed as mutually agreed between Eaton and Customer. Administer and update Eaton Commercial tools in line with approved changes for assigned customers.
Provide independent analysis of assigned customers specifications and terms in support of scope/change management decision making.
Recommend/escalate to applicable Contract Manager or key stakeholder when a proposal is required for scope change.
Meet or exceed department and customer turn-around time goals and commitments for specification review, proposal, negotiation and change implementation.
Interface with Eaton personnel, customers, distributors, airlines and airline operators as needed to explain Eaton’s contractual position on changes requested by Customer.
Proactively search customer portals and perform periodic specification and drawing reviews to ensure Eaton FED Conveyance has visibility to the latest customer documentation revision(s) and ensure new revision(s) are processed per contract and/or FED processes and procedures.
Lead process improvements within the contract’s organization. Understands and recommends changes to procedures for continuous improvement and management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Corporate, Aerospace and FED Division processes and procedures,
Ensure compliance with UCC, FAA, Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Partners with Eaton Return Material and Warranty Administer to process returns per FED policy and Procedures.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one plus (1+) years of experience working directly with internal and external customers in a manufacturing environment.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Jackson, MI location.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated competency for following and understanding contract specifications and terms.
One (1) or more years of experience in the Aerospace Industry with working knowledge in both a production and aftermarket setting.
Working knowledge of MS office applications, which include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Working knowledge of specialized MRP programs and applications.
Knowledge of Export Compliance and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR (Federal Aviation Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation).
Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization (both written and oral).
Ability to interface at all levels. Major support activities with Customer Service, Pricing, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing
Strong acumen for retrieving, reading, understanding and formally reviewing drawings and other technical and quality management systems specifications.
Action oriented with ability to work with autonomy and multi-task in a high-volume, time sensitive, environment.
