Henry Ford Health System Clinical RN Supervisor (Afternoon/Night Shift) - Hospice Residence - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI in Jackson, Michigan

The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership in collaboration with the Manager to plan, organize, and supervise the care administered to Allegiance Hospice patients in order to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

Minimum EducationAssociates Degree in Nursing (ADN) Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire Minimum Work ExperiencePrior experience in a supervisory capacity desired.Required Licenses/CertificationsCurrent Michigan nursing license requiredValid driver’s license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan.Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred or completed within 6 months of hire.Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesAbility to problem-solve with effective verbal and written communication skills is required.Possesses strong nursing processes, critical thinking, advanced assessment skills, and knowledge about the care of adult and geriatric Hospice patients is required.Interpersonal skills to effectively lead the Patient Care Team are required.Preferred QualificationsBachelors in Nursing preferredWorking knowledge of medical coding for Hospice Care preferred
