POSITION SUMMARYThe 340B Program Compliance Analyst under the direction of the 340B Program Coordinator is responsible for performing scheduled audits of pharmacy transactions to ensure compliance with the federal guidance of the 340B Program. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform audits on a scheduled basis; may involve presenting and resolving reconciliation issues as they arise during the monitoring and reconciliation process. Ensure compliance with 340B program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, and locations.Develop a thorough understanding of the split-billing system and the functions to be performed. Generates reports from 340B software to gather and analyze data.Performs monthly audits of contract pharmacies. Perform monthly self-audits on internal 340B Pharmacy OperationsConfirms drub charges are captured properly throughout all eligible locations and assesses purchasing eligibility based on qualified drug utilization. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience At least one year operational experience with 340B program or Prior experience in Pharmacy Buyer position. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Prior experience with 340B split-billing software and pharmacy systems or prior experience in Pharmacy Buyer position.Working knowledge of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practices, policies and procedures and billing processes.Basic knowledge of data gathering, and data analysis.Ability to work independently to follow through on assigned tasks.Ability to meet project deadlines and adhere to reporting procedures and requirements.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
