The Distribution Support Coordinator will work under direct supervision and is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping of customer orders.

  • Inputs accurate inventory data transactions into WMS & Host System on a daily basis.

  • Measures and weighs new product coming into the active area; assign pick locations to the active area.

  • Collects cube and weight data and inputs into WMS system.

  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

  • Investigates system issues and tests system updates.

  • Communicates directly with the IS department in regards to systems problems.

  • Processes cancelled orders per Customer Service instructions.

  • Cross trained in all clerical positions at the Distribution Center including, but not limited to, performing back up functions for the Shipping and Receiving Clerks.

  • Acts as a key contact for Customer Service and Returns questions and issues.

  • Responsible for monitoring inbound and outbound trailers to ensure compliance with CTPAT and FTZ regulations.

  • Assist Warehouse supervision by identifying work procedures and expedite work flow, and assist associates with work process issues.

  • Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

  • Compares identifying information items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records

  • Maintains and updates SharePoint with exception and return authorization information.

  • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager/supervisor.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant secondary education helpful

  • One year of Distribution Center experience preferred

  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to effectively manage time

  • Ability to assist in resolving discrepancies by investigating issues

  • Flexible schedule required; able to shift priorities easily to accommodate deadlines, business needs, and requirements

  • Strong computer skills required and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word)

  • Adequate knowledge of DC computer systems and programs; AS400 (PkMS), Endicia, SAP, SOLE & UPS Worldship preferred

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

  • May be required to operate power equipment


  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and

temperature conditions
