Holland Hospital Security Officer in Holland, Michigan
The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of all patients, visitors, staff and guests, as well as all areas of the hospital facility and grounds. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area.
Minimum Education/Training: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). No fewer than 2 years in a security related field (law enforcement, military, corrections, etc).
Registration/Certification or License Required: Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider or completed within 60 days of hire.
Physical Requirements: Occasional lift and carry 25-40 lbs. Occasional push/pull 50-100 lbs. Occasional climbing, twisting, bending. Occasional keyboard use. Frequent sitting, standing, walking. Possess 20/40 corrected near and far vision in each eye with color discrimination. Continuous talk and hear. Other Requirements: Excellent work history and attendance record. Desire strong personal and professional integrity, interpersonal communication, sound decision-making (especially in stressful situations).
