Manufacturing Performance Coach

Randstad is looking for a 1st and 3rd shift performance coach to help grow and develop our employees. Candidates must be people oriented and display interpersonal leadership attributes. This performance coach is not assigned to any specific work area; rather, they have the responsibility of impacting an entire shift or department. Randstad's performance coach focuses on equipping the workforce with an additional resource to achieve superior performance.

Responsibilities:

-Acts as on-site support for client supervisors to help improve performance through coaching and reinforcing desirable behaviors.

-Conducts pre-shift meetings to update Randstad talent about any changes in the workplace environment or client expectations.

-Ensures new hires are coached on production goals and sets expectations on these metrics.

-Provides the site management team with specific details on skill sets needed and real work issues faced by employees.

-Observes and coaches talent as needed to reinforce safe work behaviors or correct undesirable behaviors.

-Observes all new employees in work area to ensure they are working safely.

-Ensures the safety of all employees by promoting safe operations.

-Observes, monitors, and reports to the supervisor any safety hazards which may cause injury.

The Non-unit-producing performance coach is compensated according to responsibilities he or she would be expected to meet on a daily basis. Coaches do not control the means, methods or output in a client's facility as would a traditional supervisor and do not have decision making authority regarding personnel moves, production activities or discipline.

Working hours: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Skills:

-Demonstrates leadership ability

-Confident in leading conversations regarding safety and performance

-Monitoring a team in a production setting

-Manufacturing and production experience with knowledge in regards to safety

Education:

High School

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

-High school diploma/GED

-2 professional references

-Ability to arrive to work within the constraints of our attendance policy
