DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking to add an enthusiastic member to add to our Team with afternoon shift availability. Our Process Engineers add value to the team as they help as production support team members.Main Responsibilities Include:1. Daily troubleshooting of production processes2. Continuous improvement projects3. Cost reduction activities4. Sample new launch tools5. Identify and implement safety and cost reduction improvement ideas6. Any other pertinent production related duties as needed7. Understand and positively impact key measures; balance quality, productivity, safety, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas8. Continuously analyze the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods or production, tool design, communication, and reporting, cost controls and making improvements9. Observe production operation within their area of control to ascertain compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards, and efficient operation of equipment; take correction action to eliminate any deviation10. With the Plant Manager and Manager, study operation where cost standards are not being met to determine causes and apply correction action11.Promote YFAI Team Signature and Values through daily interaction with all assigned production team members12. Understand and promote JCMS Lean philosophy and methods13. Attend safety, quality, and other meetings as needed14. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through the use of, but not limited to, 5S, job rotation, and ergonomic work practices. Safety auditing, tracking of audit closure, participating in incident reviews along with writing or assisting in the 8D process and aiding in corrective action closure.
