Spectrum Health Nursing Inpatient Supervisor United/Kelsey Hospitals Full Time Nights in GREENVILLE, Michigan

Position SummaryAssumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service/ unit of the hospital. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the nursing service/unit. Additionally, Inpatient Supervisors may be required to fill-in for the hospital supervisor as needed. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: clinical support, unit based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, performance improvement, performance correction, and coaching and mentoring. Basic Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree in Nursing Experience - skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 1+ year of related clinical experience in area of specialty Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Administration or Professional (Specialty) Certification 1 Year Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty GR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) United and Kelsey 90 Days Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) United and Kelsey - ED 90 Days Or RN - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification (ENPC) United and Kelsey - ED 90 Days National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIH) United and Kelsey - ED 90 Days Preferred Qualifications: Education - Master's degree in Nursing
