IT Support Specialist

• Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email • Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions • Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers • Provides onsite support to a wide variety of systems and networks throughout the West Michigan area, installs equipment and network cabling/infrastructure. Job brief We are looking for a highly qualified IT consultant to provide service and sales, both remotely and onsite to a diverse group of clients. Your primary responsibilities will be learning systems, consulting about new and existing services provided, and providing support to these clients on a day to day basis.

Requirements A successful applicant should possess the following skills. • Familiarity with server and network management, workstation and server migrations. Experience in managing and supporting Windows 7 to 10, and Server 2008 R2 through 2016 a must. • Network design and configuration • Good communication skills • Excellent memory • Organized and hard working • Personable and friendly • Always strives for the optimal outcome, rather than just “good enough” • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

  1. Windows Server 2008 R2 through 2016 administration experience.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the medical/dental fields as that is the majority of their clients.
