We’re always looking for the next great idea or a new way to approach a challenge, and we collaborate and innovate to achieve our goals.Position SummaryResponsible to assist with the administration of company policiesrocedures and labor relations contract; provide consultation and guidance to associates and management, assist in the preparation for labor negotiations and renewal of contracts, administer and track grievances, etc. while ensuring compliance with Human Resources related legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.Minimum Requirements Degrees Bachelor's Degree (Required) Human Resources Business Administration, Labor Relations or related area. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Job Experience Five years labor relations experience required, to include employee relations, grievance handling, contract administration, labor and policy development; experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Human Resources certification preferred (i.e., PHR, SPHR, etc.)Responsibilities and Essential DutiesAssist with associate relations and labor relations within the distribution center to include:- Provide consultation and guidance to associates and management on company policiesrocedures such as performance management, recruitment process, promotions, demotions, leave of absence programs, recognition programs, disciplinary procedures, and general programolicy interpretation, etc.- Support the administration, implementation and maintenance of company policies and procedures; research, investigate and respond to Associate Relations issues, complaints, grievances, violations of business ethics policies, etc. to discover facts, identify potential risks, and facilitate resolution. Work with HR management and other department management as necessary.Assist in the preparation for labor negotiations and renewal of contracts, recommend contract changes and participate in the administration of union contracts and the handling of union relation matters as appropriate.Participate in the administration of Human Resources programs, including, but not limited to, on-boarding, benefits, compensation, talent management, organizational development, training, etc. Coordinate the administration, rollout and/or communication of various programs to include, but not limited to, benefits open-enrollment process, wellness programs, culture surveys, etc. Work closely with the various HR partners to ensure accurate and timely administration and support of such.Provide timely and efficient recruitment for assigned location, in accordance with organizational goals, established department policies and procedures and in compliance with EEOC Regulations, Affirmative Action goals and objectives and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) controls. - Participate in the recruitment process to include job posting, identifying potential candidates, interviewing and selection process, extending job offers, preparing new hire paperwork, maintaining required compliance files, and maintaining applicant flow logs in an accurate and timely manner.- Ensure candidates meet minimum job requirements and that pre-employment checks (criminal background checks, drug tests, etc.) are completed and appropriately documented. Keep candidates, hiring managers, business partners, and HR management informed throughout the recruitment process as necessary.- Assist with affirmative action plan and OFCCP reporting and compliance (i.e., outreach recruitment efforts).g
