Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions Processor in Frankenmuth, Michigan

Job Title: Processor Department: Processing Position Overview: Preparing loan files to be underwritten by collecting all documentation from the borrower or loan officer, ensuring all member information is accurately input in the system and making sure all conditions are met before the file is sent to the underwriting and closing department. Essential Job Functions: liLog new loans onto the Processing Pipeline report/li liReview all the documents that are up loaded into the file cabinet from Loan Officerrsquo;s/li liOrder Appraisals from the credit unions list/li liOrder Title commitments/li liOrder Flood Certrsquo;s with Mortgage Cadence or Wolters Kluwer website/li liUpdate the Closing Costs screen with Vendorrsquo;s names/li liUpdate the fees on the Closing Costs screen once the invoicersquo;s come in/li liUpdate the Escrow information for the taxes from the title commitments/li liUpdate the Escrow HOI premium from the homeownerrsquo;s insurance dec page on refinances/li liRequest missing documentation from the loan officerrsquo;s or the memberrsquo;s via email / phone calls/li liOrder VOEs, VODs, VORs and tax transcripts ndash; if necessary/li liComplete the LDPS GSAS on all files/li liUpdate all corresponding screens in Mortgage Cadence to reflect correct information/li liReview the appraisals and title commitments when received ndash; update Mortgage Cadence/li liRequest mortgage payoffs for refinance loans, request installment loan payoffs/li liSubmit completed files to underwriting for review/li liRequest outstanding prior to close conditions per underwriters request from Loan Officerrsquo;s or members via email / phone calls/li liSend back to underwriting once prior to close conditions are received for review/li liSend clear to close emails to the Loan Officerrsquo;s once notified from the underwriter/li liComplete the Path; Process and Validate screens/li liResearch realtorrsquo;s license numbers, business address, phone numbers and email addresses/li liUpdate the Processing Pipeline report with clear to close status/li liPass the file to the Closing Department/li liComply with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Currency Affairs (BSA/AML/OFAC) Policy, as well as RESPA, TILA, HMDA, and all other mortgage ndash; related regulations, and Fannie Mae guidelines, applicable to CUSOrsquo;s/li /ul Requirements: li1-2 years mortgage processing experience preferred/li liHigh School Diploma/GED/li liWriting and verbal communication/li /ul Other Skills/Abilities liLanguage skills/li liMathematical skills/li liReasoning abilities/li liComputer skills/li /ul NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
