A control systems designer is growing and hiring experienced and entry level Panel Wire Builders for their state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility located in Ferndale, MI.
This is a full-time opportunity offering hands on training, substantial overtime and internal advancement opportunities (big believer in cross-training) and stable, long-term employment in an air-conditioned and fully heated manufacturing facility.
Highly prefer experience building electrical panels or experience with electrical assembly including cutting and crimping wires.
Must have mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn how to build electrical panels
Ability to read an electrical schematic or electrical shop diagram is preferred
Must be detail oriented and capable of following instructions
Must be comfortable working with basic hand tools such as: wire cutters, hammers, pliers, tape measures, power drills, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and wire strippers
o 6:00am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday
o $15.00-$20.00/hour to start depending upon experience and qualifications.
o Performance and compensation review after 90 days of employment and semi-annually thereafter.
